Carrigaline has grown quickly and much of the newer estate housing was built with south or west-facing rear roofs, which is what you want. It is also a commuter town, so a lot of households are out during the day and gain most from pairing panels with storage.

Up to €1,800 towards a domestic solar PV system of 4kWp or above, and up to €300 towards a home EV charger. We handle the paperwork and the grant is deducted from what you pay.
Since October 2021 rooftop solar is exempt from planning permission for most Irish homes. The exceptions are protected structures and a small number of zones near airports.
A survey first to confirm the roof and size the system properly, then a typical install of one to two days. Roof work and the electrical side usually run at the same time.
