My Solar PV system from renewables Ireland is now installed just over one week and I am very happy with it. From my initial engagement with Alex, right through to the lads wrapping up the installation I found them completely professional, straightforward, and easy to deal with.

The installation team arrived exactly as per the agreed date and time. In my case, the cable routing from the fuse board to the inverter was not straightforward, but the lads figured it out. There was no sense of panic, huffing or puffing, or giving out. They remained calm and came up with a solution. Not only that, but in the end did a very neat job.
All of the installation team were very friendly and happy to explain any of my questions, and I did ask a few!! They were also very clean, cleaning as they went, and respectful of our home. They were impressive to watch, working in different teams with everything coming together in the end. I was generating electricity by 4:00pm the same day.

Day 3 after install and everything is working great. Any questions (silly and otherwise) are answered quickly. No issues with systems as you'd expect. I did a fair amount of research beforehand and while RI weren't the absolute cheapest, they were still cheaper than the other reputable companies that have longevity of business. I decided on RI down to a few factors that I was grading companies on. Longevity of business, after-sales service, reputation, quality of hardware, cost, ROI time frame. I got 19 panels and 10kw battery. Lads were sound, prompt, and work was clean with minimal disruption.
Two years ago, I did my research on domestic PV panels. Key considerations in selecting Renewables Ireland included visiting previous customers and face-to-face discussions on their experience, not just the on-line reviews that could conceivably be written by anybody! Renewables Ireland exceeded my expectations; the management responded promptly, provided as much information as needed, answered all my questions patiently and in as much detail as I required. The installation team arrived on time, worked carefully and safely and did a professional job. Now, two years later, I am delighted with the outcome. The PV solar panels have reduced our electricity bills, and it feels good to be doing our bit to save the planet. Recently, we had to replace part of our roof, necessitating the removal and reinstallation of four PV panels. Renewables Ireland team coordinated with roofing specialists, arrived on time, did the job safely, efficiently and cleanly. I am delighted with the service Renewables Ireland provided over two years, and welcome anybody considering using them to visit and see their work in our south Dublin home.
